A court that plays off its own walls

Padel is played inside an enclosure, and the ball stays live off the glass. That makes the structure as important as the surface — the glass has to be the right thickness and perfectly aligned, or the rebound goes wrong.

The playing surface is short-pile artificial grass with sand infill: enough grip to change direction quickly, enough slide to play the shot.

Padel Tennis FAQ

How much space does a padel court need?

20 m × 10 m for the court itself, plus 1 m clearance around it and 6 m of clear height.

Is padel viable commercially in India?

Courts in metros are running at high utilisation. The footprint is small and two courts fit where one tennis court would go.

Indoor or outdoor?

Outdoor is far cheaper to build. A roof adds monsoon-season revenue, which usually pays for itself in busy locations.
